I’ve added some new photos to my portfolio lately so that my new hair is represented. Here’s one…

It makes me crazy sometimes. I really love it and that’s why it’s so hard to give up. But I’m not making money doing this. Jobs are never guaranteed, and some of the people in the industry make me so frustrated. I don’t know that I have the personality to be a model. I’m too friendly and too nice. People just run all over me. I’m trying to get a real job. I worked at Starbuck for a few years not so long ago and I’ve got an interview there on Monday. It really is a great place to work. Fingers crossed! So…we shall see….I won’t say that I’m done modeling, but I’m going to try to not let it stress me so much. What will be will be.

Well I’ve done it again. I cut my hair. Soon I won’t have any left. It’s shorter than ever and platinum blond this time. And I love it! It is just what I wanted. =)

UVA Hospital Stay…

Hello there…long time no talk. I figured it was time to give an update on what the heck has been going on in my life. I recently stayed 2 nights at UVA hospital to try to get some answers on what’s going on in my brain. I was hooked up to an EEG machine for the whole visit. The crew there were looking at my brain waves 24/7. And what we discovered is that I have electrographic seizures while I’m sleeping. All that big word means is that my brain waves spike but I don’t have convulsions. So having seizures isn’t a good thing…but electrographic ones compared to grand mal isn’t so bad. And I’ve been grand mal seizure free for 2 1/2 weeks! Yey for me!! So where do I go from here? Well, I’ve been feeling great sooo I’m going to stay medicine free for now…see how it goes.  I have the option of going back on Keppra but for now I’ll stick with my all natural remedies. Wish me luck!

New work with Jennifer Price…

I shot with Jennifer Price on Wednesday and I’m super excited about the photos we got. It was really hard to pick favorites and which ones to put on my website…so here are a couple that I didn’t put in my portfolio, but that I still love!

 

 

New hair….again!

I love to change my look. Over the past couple of months my hair has been getting shorter and shorter even though I had said I wanted to grow it out. Oh well! I love my new short spunky do! =)

Shooting with the lovely Jennifer Price…

I had the great pleasure of shooting with Jennifer Price of Focus Photographers on several occasions now. First we shot lots of bridal in downtown Charlottesville for the benefit of her portfolio and website. (www.focusphotographers.com) And then we shot for my portfolio and for fun in Madison on a very cold windy day.
